John's last project was an acoustic duo called Open Window. They stopped performing in January of 2009 when John's partner moved to the west coast. Testimonials for John's solo act are coming soon.

I just wanted to let you know how well received both of your performances were this past year for both the Goss Packaging Users Group and the Goss VIP Customer event. While both events were held in very different locations, the M/V Thomas Laighton vessel through the Isle of Shoals Steamship Company, and the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club, both audiences enjoyed Open Window's entertainment tremendously.

 

Thank you for being so flexible in accommodating both dates so quickly and with the VIP event, in such short notice. You both are so easy to work with and so professional in your approach you'd never have known that it was pulled together in such short order.

Dear Open Window,

 

On behalf of the Great Bay Stewards and the Great Bay Discovery Center, I want to thank you for providing such wonderful entertainment for our runners and walkers following last Saturdays Great Bay 5K road race. We had a record field of over 700 finishers, and many of them went into the Gregg Conservation Center after the race to enjoy your music while waiting for the award ceremony to start. Last year, we didnt have any entertainment in the Gregg Center, and it sure made a difference to have you two there this year: You brought the place alive, and added appreciably to the festive atmosphere that we try to make a part of our race. Your music was perfect for our multi-generational crowd, and your enthusiasm carried across to the crowd. We hope you'll come back again next year, and help enhance everybody's enjoyment of our race once again.

I have had the opportunity to work with John and Kevin at two local events. As the chair of the Music Committee at the Stratham Church I contacted Open Window to perform for a church fundraiser in 2006. In my role as entertainment coordinator for the Stratham Fair, I also asked the group to perform as part of the four-day lineup this year. 

These two men are talented professional musicians who entertained and engaged the audience at both venues. Their show is well rehearsed and they are a pleasure to work with!
